Summary Box and Key Product Information
Account name	Money Market Account - deposits of £2,000 up to £49,999
Interest rates	Fixed minimum deposit of £2,000 up to £49,999 interest rate fixed for the term interest is paid at maturity or upon anniversary for terms greater than one year, monthly interest option also available.
Tax status	Interest will be paid after the deduction of the basic rate of Savings tax, currently 20%, unless you are eligible and have registered for non-taxable interest.
Conditions for bonus payment	No bonus payments are made on this account.
Withdrawal arrangements	Partial withdrawals are not permitted. Closure and withdrawal of money in full is permitted only in exceptional circumstances, depending on tax status and is subject to a fee.
Access	A Money Market Account can be opened by telephone and operated by telephone or post. A first direct 1st Account is required so funds can be transferred in and out of your Money Market Account.
